Mt Hood From the Air

I know that these sort of photos with a plane wing are somewhat cliche but I really like this one.  I was en route to South Dakota from Portland, Oregon.  I missed my flight and after waiting around for another I saw this view out my tiny window moments off the ground.  As I am getting ready for another travel season this photo caught my eye as I was looking for the next to post.

  1. Brilliant! The photo looks quite professional (though I’m a dilettante myself :))) and this luminous mountain peak captures the eye, being the central theme here. I was on a trip myself, and now I’m genuinely sorry for not having taken a single picture from the airplane window.

    • Thank you. I almost never take photos from the airplane but this one just had to be done. I’m actually not sure that I was supposed to have any electronics on at this time in the flight being we were still in take off. Good thing the plane didn’t fall out of the sky.
